Yesterday, while in the shower, peace washed over me as I reflected on my life. Despite past trauma, insecurity, and recent job loss, I found myself rejoicing.
My past triggers pain, and my present is filled with uncertainty, but my future is filled with hope.
Things aren’t perfect, but given where I was a year ago, I’m content with where I am now—a testament to God’s love, grace, and provision.
Here are three truths to hold onto in times of uncertainty:
God Wants Glory From Your Life
When we live a life of joy and point others to Jesus, God is glorified. Even in tough times, God desires to use every part of your life to bring Him glory. Your life matters to Him.
God Cares About Crumbs
Just as Jesus instructed His disciples to gather the leftovers, God wastes nothing in your life. He cares about every fragment of your experiences—your past, pain, regrets, and even the years that felt wasted. God uses it all for His purpose.
God Will Not Hold Out On You
Psalm 84:11 reminds us that God doesn’t withhold good things from those who walk uprightly. If we don’t have something we desire, it’s either because we’re not ready, or it’s not the right time. Trust God’s timing and His heart, even when the wait is hard.
Even when life is uncertain, you can find peace in the present while trusting God with the future.
Remember these truths: God wants to use your life for His glory, He values every part of your journey, and He won’t withhold any good thing from you.
